(CEO Kwang-Bum Park, hereinafter MegaGen) developed a patient-customized implant guide using 3D digital simulation to improve the patient's mandibular defect and facial asymmetry. In the meantime, most of the mandibular reconstructive surgery has been done with ready-made prosthetic materials. The patient-specific artificial mandible of MegaGen's FACEGIDE Reconstruction System transfers the CT data into 3D(STL), then simulates and designs the area that needs to be repaired in an ideal shape, then customized medical device is made for patient's application area through CAD/CAM technology. With 3D CT superimposition and CAD/CAM technology, it is possible to elaborately produce implants guide. Preoperatively, the position of the implant placement is accurately planned to avoid nerve damage, and the preoperative simulation plan and postoperative results can be perfectly expected. Biocompatibility and safety were also secured by applying pure titanium (Grade 4) as a raw material. Titanium is lighter than other metal materials, has high strength, robustness, good corrosion resistance. It’s widely used in dental implants and other dental devices because it has excellent biocompatibility. MegaGen Implant Co., Ltd. (CEO Kwang Bum Park, hereinafter MegaGen) had booths with various dental equipment display and events, received great attention from the visitors. During exhibition there were many visitors on MegaGen booth, and especially, many people were interested in N2 unit chair.
